Weekly Graphite love topics!

We also have a weekly topic with a reference photograph for group activity. Go ahead and take up the challenge. The objective of these ref. images is to study the following aspects of the image :-

Texture : to study different types of texture and the variation of how it reflects light

Tonal value : helps you understand depth, and what causes it.

Form, shape & composition : The most important of all !Though the image is set in a boundary, feel free you crop it in your drawing if you want to alter the composition.

The final drawing may be submitted as any one of the following or all of the following :)

A line drawing : A line which showcases weight in it and reflect the above 3 aspects of the topic.

A tonal study : A quick tonal study, or a detailed tonal study

A hyper-realistic rendering : Bravo to anyone who does this :)
