Studying Old Masters

This is a group for those who'd like to learn from the Old Masters, an awesome way to understand drawing. Trace the path and you learn why they did what they did.

Also, the seed of the idea.

Today's Master Inspiration.

Hello Jammers,

This is a weekly activity page of Studying Old Masters. We will be learning about one new master artist every week. The artist could be a painter, illustrator, cartoonist, designer or a comicbook artist. All the artists are people who helped establish the visual world of communication, well known in their domains and have been great contributors to the industry.

We study a few of them in our art history books, many are buried under domain "categories" found only by people specialising in that Arts domain. This activity is a way we can all pay our respect to these brilliant artists and their art forms.

So go ahead enjoy the artists, observe what they observed and draw!
