Comment by Prosenjit Roy on April 17, 2012 at 8:53am Thanks so much, kind people :)
Parani - me either! And here he was actually doing it!
Dinesh - how very insightful of you. Yes, he indeed was a multi-talented man, from what little I've come to know about him on the internet. If humility could also be considered a talent, I'd call that among his foremost qualities. To use his words -'A yogi is not a distinguished person; A distinguished person is still a distinguished person, and not a yogi"
Prabha - they are, aren't they! I ought to have thought of it before sketching this.
Thank you Asha!
GS - ahh, such wisdom! Now that is some food for thought - again, thanks a lot.

Comment by Dinesh Francis on April 15, 2012 at 8:16pm Excellent study and sketch!
Didn't realize Swami Venkatesananda was a master of Hatha Yoga too. His dialogues with J Krishnamurti are an eye-opener.
Comment by Ganapathy Subramaniam (GS) on April 13, 2012 at 8:19am @Prosenjit... Two of the numerous definitions which match very well :)
Yoga=Perfection is action
Yoga=Union(of the Subject and the object)
Comment by Prabal Mallick on April 12, 2012 at 7:59pm Prosenjit - This is unfair. I always take away some of your years by not adding a 'ji' or 'da' at the end of your name. And now you have almost doubled my age by adding that 'ji' there. This will not be tolerated next time. :)
Comment by Prosenjit Roy on April 12, 2012 at 6:50pm Prabalji - make no mistake, the honor is all mine :)
Akhila - @ 'Guru'... well that reminds me, I need to lose some weight and get 'enlightened' :P
Anil - some expressions are universal, regardless of the language!
Vidhu - you're so right, the anatomy... and the potential power in those coiled limbs is so very obvious in that position.
GS - anything but... @ 'one yogi' :)
Thanks a LOT kind people, my day was made!
