Hi George,

Thanks for your comment. I really like this watercolor. The lines or wires coming from the door frame which extend out to the left, are really effective in the whole balance. Great colors too!

i think, sometimes, plainly applied colour (without intending to create an 'effect', as in the upper blue), has a mysterious, almost child-like, charm to it. At first glance, its just a simple flat stroke of paint. But staying with it reveals newer dimensions...
