WDC Bangalore is the Bangalore chapter of The Weekend Drawing Club. The club meets every sunday to draw our lovely city.

The club is open and free for all. If you like drawing over hot coffee, this club is for you.

Bangalore is where WDC first originated. The Weekend Drawing CLub started with a group of friends meeting each sunday to draw over hot coffee at the India Coffee House. Pretty soon the group grew, and today we have quite a few members who gather each weekend to draw.

  • The WDC members who missed the Picasso - Einstein event, don't be miffed. The hall was so crowded that many of us were stuck outside. I didn't hear most of it and left early.

     

    We noticed that IISC recorded the talk, and we're trying to get our hands on the DVD. Will keep you updated.

  Wow!  2016 and we have already finished two weekend jams for the current year.  All the jammers and artists who took part in Chitra Santhe - I hope that you are happy with your participation and it was profitable.  Soman had complained how there were no reports of jams to look forward to - so I hope I am setting a precedent, and others will follow when I am not in station.  Please upload your photos and artwork done during and after the jam at ChitraKala Parishat here.   Thank you.  The waste…

Weekend drawing @ Madhavan Park

I was waiting to go to this beautiful park - for a long while. With my mind set on drawing trees I set out early in the morning, only to realize that the park looked rather petite. Where were all the trees? There were a few jammers spread out - drawing, I went around asking everyone - "Where is the park with the huge trees?
